Homework due Tuesday April 29th is to decide what aspect of Aspen you'd like to create a folleto (pamphlet) for. The folleto will be written in Spanish, but tonight's homework is to decide the subject you want to cover, and to write out the ENGLISH versions of what you'll put in the pamphlet.

For Tuesday, finish finding the 20 pictures that represent adjectives from the list we used in class. Just finish with the pictures, then we will print them out tomorrow and write the adjectives on the cards so we can use them as flash cards.

Food Preparation due Monday, 2/10!

For Monday, February 10th, bring in your prepared food for the project! Remember that you will video yourself during different steps of the preparation of your food, including all the steps. In the video, you are describing what you are doing IN SPANISH. And you use THE COOKING VERBS that we studied. Explain the process in the "yo" form. Example: "Ahora, yo cocino la carne."
We will watch the videos and eat the food on Monday.

For Monday the 14th, please choose 1 of your recipes (from previous homework) and give the steps, in Spanish, for how to prepare the recipe. Use only the 8 COOKING VERBS that we have studied in class (so you may not be able to write an EXACT translation). You will also have to look up some of the vocabulary, such as the name of the ingredients in your recipe.

Our next project will be related to cooking, so we will need to have a background of verbs to use. There will be a quizlet Monday over the following 8 verbs, so please make sure you know both the English and Spanish meaning of each:
